Body Helix Ankle Compression - Sleeve Uses

The Body Helix Ankle Compression Sleeve provides compression in a sleek, simple design. Consequently it fits comfortably inside your shoe and provides support to your ankle ligaments.  Additionally, the Achilles tendon and arch of the foot are well supported.  This elegant, effective ankle compression sleeve also takes pressure off sensitive ankle tendons.

The Full Ankle Support Helix utilises Form-Fit Technology and is made from our reinforced Super Stretch material.  Also, the ankle sleeve will not absorb excess water, bacteria, or odours and is 100% machine washable.

A proper Fit is Important

Measure your ankle at the maximum dimension where the ankle support will be used. Namely, measure the exact distance around your ankle from the heel to the front, as in the photo.

If your measurement is in the middle of two sizes.  Order the smaller size if you are a lean or muscular athlete and the larger size if you are not.

What is the difference in styles? Full or X-fit?

The X-Fit Ankle Helix provides support in the "X" or Figure 8 pattern. Consequently, this pattern is used to support ankle injuries where there has been damage to the muscles and tendons.  Additionally, this is typically associated with acute ankle sprains or strains. Also, the X-Fit is advised after acute injury management and has slightly less bulk than the Full Ankle Helix. The Full Ankle Helix provides uniform compression typically desired for acute and chronic injury management and injury prevention and provides support to a larger area of the ankle than the X-Fit. The Full Ankle Helix is generally the product of choice unless less bulk or less support is desired.
