Adjustable SI (Sacroiliac) Joint Compression Wrap Uses

The SI joint, or sacroiliac joint, is comprised of ligaments that hold the surrounding bones together. Forces applied to these ligaments can cause minor or major symptoms, including severe pain. As with any acute strain, ice, rest, elevation and compression are advised. The Adjustable SI Joint Helix is will provide comfortable support to the involved area and keep the injured tissue warm. The sacroiliac compression and warmth may aid in reducing pain.

What's the Difference in the Adjustable SI Joint Helix and the Adjustable Back Helix?

There is a large functional overlap of the Adjustable SI Joint Helix and the Adjustable Back Helix. The Adjustable SI Joint Helix is narrower sacroiliac support belt that provides less support for lumbosacral and paraspinal muscles. The Adjustable SI joint Helix will provide support and warmth and is ideal for injuries involving only the SI joint.

A proper fit is important

The Adjustable SI Joint Helix is available in one size fits most but not all.  The benefit of compression is lost unless the extra large athlete is lean.
