Yoga Studio's Organic Cotton Yoga Rug is the original traditional style of yoga mat and suitable for most yoga types including Hatha, Vinayasa and Ashtanga.
Organic Yoga Rugs are mostly used for Hot yoga, Power Yoga, Ashtanga - i.e. any type of yoga where you find yourself sweating.
Organic Yoga Rugs get more grip the wetter they get. Some people even use a water spray to make their Yoga Rug obtain the best traction.

PRODUCT INFO
- Blot any spills with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub or use harsh detergents.
- Wash colourfast rugs by hand with a mild detergent, using a soft brush or a sponge.
- Machine washable. Use non-biological powder and a cool wash gentle cycle.
- Followed by a slow spin cycle, then hang out to dry, pulling the mat back into shape.
- Wash dark colours separately.
- Do not bleach.
- Made in India.

I recently spoke with Robert Hawkins, owner of Total Wellness, about using a Compex 6.0 wireless electrostimulation device to aid my recovery from a complex leg and knee injury. After listening to an interesting podcast I ordered the kit to check my omega-3 levels. The kit arrived quickly; inside were clear instructions and it was very simple to use. The process took about 10 minutes including reading the instructions. I posted the kit for analysis and had regular updates via email until the test results came through. Very helpful information. I would definitely recommend this test to others if you’re so inclined.
The test kit was simple to register and use, with clear instructions. Four days later, I received an email confirming receipt of the blood sample. And seven days after that, I received a detailed report, with useful information and advice. I paid extra for the advanced analysis, so I cannot comment on the basic report. But I'm happy to recommend the advanced option.
I ordered a compex SP4 from total wellness, service was excellent received machine next day and followed up with a video call to talk me through the set up .
I was advised to use this by my consultant after a total knee replacement left me with muscle atrophy on my quadriceps, unable to lift my leg independently and using bands or hands to lift leg into bed , into car etc there was no link with my muscle and brain.
After one week of using twice a day I had a little miracle my quads appear to be responding well and I can now lift my leg in a leg raise and I am now not using any hands to get into car or bed ! There is still a lot of work to be done but this has totally spurred me on to keep going with the hard work.
I do exercise with the compex set up to make full use of contractions !
Totally recommend this if you find yourself in the same situation and your quads are not activating.

Robert and his team are fabulous and my experience of renting a compex machine was super pleasant. I was recovering from an ACL reconstruction surgery and was a tad mortified about the entire process of rental. But Total Wellness team did a great job.
